I'm with Kevin. Go outside, get some fresh air, look up. This is how I achieve perspective and it's instantaneously calming. I listen to all the non-human critters around me that do not follow social media or watch the news. They constantly fill the air with the beautiful sounds of life. And death. No matter what the headlines and trolls say, modern human life is pretty good — mostly we are not food.

That is the ultimate solution. Few realize how science has also proven how powerful prayer is on the human body physiologically too. I'll be writing about that next week :)

Crisis and storms feed the voracious and ever hungry algorithms. We all need more calm in our lives. When I walk out to my garden, the peppers are growing as they always do. The ladybugs are content to go about their business. And calmness comes over me as I step into their non-digital world. Sometimes, I just want to stay there...
